Vice presidential candidate and Mayor Sara Duterte promised that it will emulate Davao City's program for the disabled by providing them with jobs and trainings.
This is what Mayor Inday said at the height of his visit to the Department of Social Welfare and Development compound in Escopa, Quezon City for a “meet and greet” with persons with disabilities of the third district of Q.C.
According to Mayor Sara, PWDs in Davao are given priority in business and livelihood.
Mayor Sara added that PWDs in Davao have their own office that is not attached to the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
Therefore, Mayor Sara said that if it is done in Davao City, it is not impossible to do it nationwide.
