Re -announced in Talk to the People. Rodrigo Duterte April 5, his neutral stand when it comes to presidential candidates.
The chief executive explained that he did not want people to suspect him.
“I remain neutral. Ang akin kasi ay Presidente ako, tapos mag-kampi ako ng isa. Magdududa ‘yung iba na ginagamit ko ‘yung resources ng gobyerno, magulo na,” Duterte said.
So far the only one he supports is his daughter Inday Sara who is running the VP race.
He also said that he will avoid endorsing or even mentioning other candidates so that he will not have problems with the COMELEC.
But he announced that he had candidates who would have been in the Senate but the president has not named them yet.
