Vice President Leni Robredo’s camp explained that they don’t have 800 million to give to anyone.
This is the explanation of Atty. Barry Gutierrez, who said they had no funds to distribute Robredo’s campaign.
“I don't have P800M. Vice President Leni Robredo has no funds to give. Our campaign of initiative and volunteerism is progressing, and we are sure that we do not have P800M to give to anyone. VP Leni's support for the presidential candidacy is based on the hope that he will succeed -or the government and provide a better future for all Filipinos, ”Gutierrez added.
Earlier, presidential candidate Panfilo Lacson reportedly said that the Partido Reporma now supports Robredo when he announced that he did not have 800 million Pesos, as additional funding to local candidates.
Lacson abruptly announced on Thursday that he had left the Partido Reporma and would continue to run for president as an independent candidate.
