BBM-Sara is supported by large, influential political parties


More than a month before the May 9 election, presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and running mate Inday Sara Duterte garnered support, continuing to improve their chances of winning.


Atty. Vic Rodriguez, spokesman for presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, said some of the largest and most influential parties in the country have united to support and win the BBM-Sara UniTeam.


According to Rodriguez, the National Unity Party (NUP), which is considered one of the largest political parties in the country, also expressed support for UniTeam on Thursday.


According to NUP head Rep. Elpidio Barzaga of Cavite’s 4th district, Marcos ’call for unity is also their party’s main aspiration.


Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte’s political party PDP-Laban led by Energy Sec. Alfonso Cusi also expressed his support for Marcos ’candidacy.


UniTeam was previously supported by the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL), Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), Reform Party (RP).

Recently, three major trade union groups, including the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP), Labor Party of the Philippines (LPP) and Partido Lakas ng Manggagawang Pilipino (PLMP) also formally expressed their support for UniTeam.


Most governors, mayors and other officials in many provinces also expressed support for UniTeam.
