President Digong will distribute land certificates to 13,000 recipients of agrarian reform in General Santos City on Thursday, Malacañang said on Tuesday.
The land ownership certificate covering 24,000 hectares of privately acquired land will be distributed by President Digong, his spokesman Salvador Panelo said.
The President will be accompanied by Secretary of Agrarian Reform John Castriciones on Thursday.
Panelo said Castriciones also discussed the implementing rules and regulations of Executive Order No. 75 during the Cabinet meeting Monday night.
Signed by the President on February 15, the EO 75 ordered government agencies and offices to identify government-owned land that is suitable or suitable for agriculture to be distributed to eligible beneficiaries.
